I enjoy connecting dots across my area of expertise in digital technology, feminism, social justice and community collaboration. I am available for speaking engagements, consultancy, support with personal growth and ideation on issues intersecting with tech and society.
About Chenai
What drives me
Curiosity, social justice, and a need for gender equity drive my interest in digital technology. My work focuses on digital and data rights through research to influence public interest policy and civil society engagement; advisory to technologists to think of how their technology affects women and gender diverse people, public communications to tell a story of ownership and agency on technology; and philanthropic interventions to support leadership growth and sustainability of feminist movements on the African continent and the global majority.
I draw on principles of feminism to think through digital technology interventions in their contexts and how they connect globally. My work centers people-first in its interventions. I have worked on women’s rights online, digital identity, online gender-based violence, and data and AI projects. In addition, I have supported people to think through their own professional experience, to ensure a balance of well-being and growth. I have supported ideation for people-centered interventions focused on organisational structure and individual capacity.
