For sociologist, Chenai Chair, tech isn’t just tech

On a Tuesday morning in Johannesburg, Chenai Chair is still carrying the energy of Kigali where,  just a week earlier, she attended a Deep Learning Indaba summit—the continent’s biggest AI gathering.
